9000-ton ship near Juhu Beach needs to be moved

Mumbai: It had turned into a major attraction at Juhu Beach. And this afternoon the merchant vessel Wisdom drew bigger crowds than ever in Mumbai as the Navy began salvage operations that, if successful, will allow the ship to slowly be moved away.

Mallika will also feature in a hot and steamy item number 'Jalebi Bai' for Double Dhamaal. Rs 1.5 crore set was constructed for the shooting of Sherawat’s item number. The song features the cast of the film which includes Sanjay Dutt, Kangna Ranaut, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Ashish Chowdry and Jaaved Jaffery. Mallika starts off with a hula hoop in a dangerously low lehenga and a gold choli as Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi look on. Replete with suggestive moves and skimpy outfits, the song is a sure-shot hit.

Shalu ke thumke

Mallika's latest item number in this week's release 'Bin Bulaye Baraati' vehemently ridicules Munni (Malaika Arora Khan) and Sheila (Katrina Kaif). The item number picturises Mallika singing, “Munni bhi maani aur Sheila bhi maani, Shalu ke thumke ki duniya deewani.” Apparently, choreographer (Farah Khan) who made Munni and Sheila dance and become an instant chartbuster was approached to make Shalu give hot thumkas! But the proposal was politely turned down by her. It was Mallika’s idea to fuse in the names of Munni and Sheila in the song and make Shalu overpower them.
