Oct 1: ‘Force’, the title itself gives us the idea that the movie is packed with ‘action’ and yes it is. But it is certainly not devoid of love, the strength and weakness of humans in general. Infact director Nishikant Kamat strikes a good balance between action and love which is well presented by the actors. Being a re-make of Tamil hit ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ the movie manages to fairly grip the audience and a fine attempt I must say.

Story Outline and Analysis

ACP Yashwardhan (John Abraham) is one among the four brave officers of the Narcotics Deparment who are firm on their mission of bursting the dangerous drug racket. Though the other three had certain family commitments and weaknesses in them Yash had no one of his own. That being his major plus point he fearlessly involved in tackling risky cases and then enters Maya (Genelia D’Souza). Though he was too hesitant to commit to her initially he couldn’t help but fall in love with her.

One particular case related to Vishnu (Vidyut Jammal), a drug mafia proves costly for these four officers. While tracing the people involved in major drug supply the cops happen to kill Vishnu’s elder brother (Anna, which is played by Mukesh Rishi) and then begins the deadly revenge. The four officers and their family members are his target. Yash’s decision to let happiness and normalcy into his life changes his life forever and finally he loses his sweetheart who brought these changes in him. Yet he manages to kill the rogue and continue with his duty of a powerful narcotic cop.
